First post!
Hello world! Starting a blog has been something I've been thinking about for quite a while now. I don't know why I never actually did it until now (maybe finding a super great website to host tipped me over the edge) but the idea of a journal-style blog where I can shout my thoughts into the void of the internet is very attractive.
The idea of remaining somewhat anonymous is also appealing. It allows me to be brutally honest without consequences- which can be a good or bad thing, I'm aware. I'm not expecting this blog to take off- the opposite, in fact. I would honestly be okay with no one reading this except for me. But the idea that someone could read this does add to the fun of it.
The main purpose of this blog is to provide an outlet for my thoughts and opinions, as well as a way to practice writing. Some of this will be as much to myself as to whoever could see this. I feel like a blog is an in-between zone on a scale from a YouTube channel to a social media account. I'm not willing to become more involved in social media than I have to (and I also kinda can't be bothered actually producing content) but I do want to be putting something out there, even if it's just for me. That's what unprinted is for.
Well, I've run out of things to say for now. But hopefully, I won't forget about this blog and keep coming back to post.
